Josh Lichtman, a principal with Lynx in Los Angeles, has over 20 years of experience providing multi-jurisdictional investigative services to senior executives and litigators seeking insight and resolution to their most critical issues. Josh works with clients across numerous sectors including entertainment, financial services, pharmaceuticals, aerospace and defense, and the public sector.

Josh has worked on and managed a wide range of assignments, including litigation support, internal fraud investigations and employment issues, trade secret theft, pre-transactional and investigative due diligence, counterfeit and intellectual property matters, asset searches, and business intelligence.

Josh is a court recognized expert who has provided testimony in cases involving topics such as evidence preservation, investigations and digital forensic methodologies and procedures. Josh has supervised hundreds of litigation support assignments with a special focus on fact-finding in support of litigation, locating and interviewing witnesses and digital forensic analysis.  

Josh has deep experience managing high tech investigations and sophisticated computer crimes. Josh has led hundreds of successful investigations of cyber-squatting and domain name abuse, identity theft, phishing attacks, Internet extortion, Trojans and malware, hijacking of computer systems, illegitimate private servers, distributed denial-of-service attacks and leaks of proprietary information.

Josh has developed and implemented global intellectual property and brand protection enforcement programs on behalf of major film studios, luxury goods and pharmaceutical firms, video game publishers, apparel manufacturers, technology companies, and food and beverage companies. Josh’s work has resulted in the elimination of thousands of illicit websites, the destruction of millions of counterfeit products, the seizure of millions of dollars in assets, and the arrest and incarceration of major counterfeiters.

Prior to joining Lynx, Josh was an Associate Managing Director at Kroll, an international risk consultancy in New York and Los Angeles.
