Internal Investigations
We work with companies, government agencies, non-profit organizations and schools to evaluate and respond to allegations of fraud, corruption and workplace misconduct.
Our internal investigations seek to bring the relevant facts to light so that organization leaders can make informed decisions, such as disciplining or terminating an employee, or making a referral to law enforcement. We often work with the organization’s outside counsel to define the scope for the investigation.
We interview witnesses, conduct forensic review of digital information and physical facilities, review and analyze financial records and investigate the background of relevant individuals. As needed, we liaison with law enforcement and make criminal referrals.
